After studying modern viola at the Chopin Academy in Warsaw, Malgosia completed her two year postgraduate diploma studies in baroque viola at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Since then, she plays violin and viola with various orchestras and chamber groups including, The English Baroque Soloists, The English Concert, Early Opera Company, Florilegium, The Handel Orchestra, The Kings Consort, La Serenissima, Conductus Ensemble and Opus Lírica.
Currently, combines her playing work as a freelance, teaching, as well as working as a music therapist both as a freelance and in her private practice. She lectures at the CIM, Centro de Investigación de Musicoterapia in Bilbo and at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
She has been teaching viola and violin for the past 15 years. Mau is a Music Therapist trained at the UWE- University of West England. Mau has a music teacher degree.
